Good Morning Britain viewers have responded to suggestions thatMatt Hancock's future 'could be in the media'beplay官网手机登陆消息传出后,议员并不相关ng at the next elections. Following his stint on I'm a Celeb, Matt Hancock was suspended from theConservative Partyand is currently an independent MP.

But the former Health Secretary has announced that he will not be standing as an MP in the next elections, choosing instead to pursue "new possibilities." Now, there are suggestions that Mr Hancock could become the newest politician to turn his attentions to a career in the media.

Speaking onGood Morning Britaintoday, journalist Iain Dale said: "I think he feels his future is in the media, I personally don't think he's quite got what it takes to make that happen. Ed Balls has done it very successfully, I mean he obviously is hosting this show sometimes.

"He stood in for James O'Brien on LBC a few months ago and I think people think what we collectively do is quite easy, because all we do is chat a bit and that's it. Well, we know it's not quite as easy as that. [...] it's not quite how people think it is and when people do it for the first time it's quite a shock. Well, if he makes it work, good luck to him."

But viewers were having none of it, suggesting that Mr Hancock's future should "be in prison" and not as the UK's newest journalist. @Paul68958640 said: "Hancock's future should be in prison".
