Moore has a decision to make with regards who plays in goal. David Stockdale has started the last two games but did not cover himself in glory in the draw with Lincoln last time out, spilling a shot straight into the path of Imps' forward Danny Mandroui who gleefully bundled the ball into the net.

Moore has shown this season that he's not afraid to wield the axe and it would be no surprise to see Dawson reinstated for the Kassam Stadium encounter. In midfield, the Reece James experiment against Lincoln worked to an extent.

But Wednesday need urgency and a player who can make things happen so it may be time for Mallik Wilks to get the nod in the number 10 role. He impressed in cameos against Cheltenham andlast weekend at Hillsborough, with Moore saying: "He's getting stronger and is probably now in a situation where we feel he can start games.

"Mallik runs down wide areas but what people don't give him credit for is that he's good in the air too. If we can keep him fit for the last seven games he'll be a wonderful addition for us."

Predicted Owls XI:Dawson, Palmer, Iorfa, Flint, Famewo, Johnson, Bannan, Vaulks, Wilks, Gregory, Smith.
